Equalizer Overview
Geographic load balancing can dramatically improve reliability by ensuring that your service remains available
even if a site-wide failure occurs. Equalizer can also improve performance by routing requests to the location with
the least network latency.
A discussion about Geographic Load Balancing and Envoy is provided in "Envoy" on page 514.
Sizing of Equalizer Objects
The following table lists the maximum number of each object that can currently be defined on Equalizer:
